Taste: Grapefruit, piny bitter hops, sweet and dry malts.

| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Aug 12, 2009 Smells pretty horrendous.Sour with lots of bitter hoppy notes as well. Buggy, chemically. Bottling line issues? Yes! Pours hazy golden with a nice head and lacing. Infected and gross, chemically, floral flavors sort of, perhaps a little bread. Lingering sour/earthy notes. Overcarbonated, but has a stale/non lively mouthfeel. This is god awful. I can see that it could be decent, but come on guys, let’s figure out bottling before putting this shit on the shelves. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 1, 2009 On tap at the brewery. Pours with a large, off0white head over a hazy golden body. Aroma of pine and apricot. Taste is grainy and malt forward with some light citrus hops. Medium bodied, medium carbonation. Better than their IPA! JohnC (2286), Mission Viejo, California, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 3, 2009 22oz bottle. Hazy, medium yellow pour with a small white head. Smells kind of fruity and a little tart and funky. Flavor is kind of bland, slightly hoppy, but barely noticable. Pretty average pale ale, might have to re-rate in the future, not sure if this is an off bottle or not. badlizard (2385), Berkeley, California, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 25, 2009 Bottle from Del Cerro Liquors. Hue is a cloudy pale orange with minimal white head. Nose is grainy malts with light floral/grassy hops. Flavor is bread and cereal grain-like malts with moderate hop bitterness and floral/earthy flavors, finishes slightly bitter. Overall, a fairly standard example of a pale ale, easy drinking and balanced but no standout qualities here.
