Commercial Description:
Bootlegger’s Pumpkin Ale is our Fall Seasonal release. The beer is made with 200 pounds of pumpkin for a true Pumpkin flavor. Cinnamon, nutmeg, molasses, and brown sugar were also added to give this beer a rich pumpkin pie flavor and smooth finish.

Sample at the brewery. Rating #5. Nice amber pour. Had a nice subtle pumpkin spice aroma, not overwhelming. Flaveo was a little light, some nice sweet spice a little hops, very enjoyable though. (1050)

Had on tap at Beachwood BBQ, Seal Beach. Appearance is an orange/amber with a good head and slight lacing. Aroma is sweet, pumpkins, slight spiciness, alcohol. Taste is of spices, pumpkin, and alcohol. I enjoyed the pumpkin flavor, but the sweetness and spiciness seemed to dominate with a strong alcohol flavoring. Drinkable, but nothing memorable.

A nice balanced pumpkin ale. A perfect mixture of pumpkin pie flavors, spicy hops. Goes down easy and looks beautiful in a glass.

I had this on tap at the brewery. this was a clear amber pour with a nice pumpkin flavor. Nothing overpowering but the pumpkin flavor complemented the beer well.

Good amount of pumpkin flavor with a decent amount of spices. This was a beer that was tasty but did not over power with too much spice or flavor. The malt and hops build was very nice. I really liked this beer and you could drink a pint and it not be too much pumpkin flavor.

An authentic pumpkin flavor - and I mean the actual pumpkins, not the pumpkin spices. A chewy squash like presence that gives more credibility than most pumpkin seasonals I’ve tried. Spices I taste are cinnamon and nutmeg - and plenty of both. Color is a dark amber, thick frothy head. Poured on tap at the brewery. Get it while it lasts!
