Had a nice subtle pumpkin spice aroma, not overwhelming. Flaveo was a little light, some nice sweet spice a little hops, very enjoyable though. (1050)

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 17, 2009 Had on tap at Beachwood BBQ, Seal Beach. Appearance is an orange/amber with a good head and slight lacing. Aroma is sweet, pumpkins, slight spiciness, alcohol. Taste is of spices, pumpkin, and alcohol. I enjoyed the pumpkin flavor, but the sweetness and spiciness seemed to dominate with a strong alcohol flavoring. Drinkable, but nothing memorable. LtDan (537), Los Angeles County, California, USA

Good amount of pumpkin flavor with a decent amount of spices. This was a beer that was tasty but did not over power with too much spice or flavor. The malt and hops build was very nice. I really liked this beer and you could drink a pint and it not be too much pumpkin flavor.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 20, 2008 An authentic pumpkin flavor - and I mean the actual pumpkins, not the pumpkin spices. A chewy squash like presence that gives more credibility than most pumpkin seasonals I’ve tried. Spices I taste are cinnamon and nutmeg - and plenty of both. Color is a dark amber, thick frothy head. Poured on tap at the brewery. Get it while it lasts!
