Commercial Description:
Nearly black with ruby glints and a creamy head, Boréale Noire is a full-bodied stout. Its rich velvety taste suggests dark chocolate and roasted coffee with hints of licorice.

A black beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of roasted malt. The flavor is sweet and again with roasted malt being most dominant, but it also has notes of chocolate.

Very dark brown. Milky, roast barley aroma. Full body with black malts and dark chocolate. Thins into a slightly lactic finish. Slight hint of nuts. Straightforward stout.

Brown-black body with small beige head. Aroma is mild sweet, chocolate, some coffee, roasty, light smoke. Taste is mild up top, turns strong coffee with some chocolate, roasty, hint of smoke in finish. Light body, moderately smooth.

Bottle. Very sweet, with notes of brown sugar to start, and then with touches of roasty malt towards the finish. Mouth feel is sweet and flabby. There are touches of licorice as well i suppose, but the sweet brown sugar characters seemed to dominate.
