duff (5403), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Apr 7, 2008 Bottle. Very sweet, with notes of brown sugar to start, and then with touches of roasty malt towards the finish. Mouth feel is sweet and flabby. There are touches of licorice as well i suppose, but the sweet brown sugar characters seemed to dominate.

Vanilla, light roast, not great aroma. Fluffy, rollicking, very soft palate. Notes of nuts and vanilla. Light bitterness. A decently drinkable beer for what it is but not within the style. (on tap, Montreal Beer Festival, 2008). pforei (313), USA Jun 3, 2008 Bottle from Fripon, Old Montreal. Black body with decent brown head. Raosted ashiness with chocoloate and brown sugar. Slight tartness towards finish.
