Lightly tanned thin creamy head.
Slight unclear reddish brown colored body. Inviting aromas of sweet caramel, malts and dark dried fruits, with some pleasant nutty notes. Taste is much the same, with some mild bittering hops added. Healthy body. Filling. Light bitter caramelish end. A lovely beer. KnutAlbert (2174), Oslo, Norway Oct 25, 2007 0,33 l bottle bought in Moss. Sweetish, Nice maltiness, a bit thin, but for a Norwegian lager, this is rather decent. Quite true to type, actually. larsga (2141), Oslo, Norway Sep 29, 2007 Smal offwhite head. Reddish brown body. Sweetish caramel aroma with light fruity, peppery notes. Very harmonic. Sweet, mild peppery caramel taste with light papery notes. Slightly watery aftertaste. It’s OK. Decent session beer. (0.33l draft at Beer Palace, Oslo.) omhper (10438), Stockholm, Sweden Nov 15, 2007 Bottled. Dark amber, rich fluffy head. Caramelly and perfumy. Sweet and lightly fruity. Medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Salty finish. A bit short in the mouth and well fruity, but respect where respect is due - this is one of the better renditions of the style I’ve some across from more commerical brewers. Gr0ve (1088), Oslo, Norway Nov 6, 2007 330 ml botle. Copper colour. Clear. Tall white fluffy head that clings to the glass. Rounded sweet maltiness. Definitely a lager as this is obvious from the aroma. Crisp texture with papery dry hoppiness. Dry mouthfeel. Some chocolatey malt flavours. Quite light, but overall this a nice oktoberfest if a little on the bland side.
