Commercial Description:
"The great flavour from the small brewery." All beers from Borg are brewed solely on malts, hops, water and yeast - the way good beer has been brewed for centuries. Borg Pilsner is light and refreshing, and goes well with cured meat, light meat, fish or just as a thirstquencher.

21.09.2003, 0,33l bottle. Colour is pale and golden. The body is thin and the beer tastes sour and a little bitter.

Curtesy og Yngwie. It’s golden with an OK, white head. The aroma has notes of malt and straw. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of malt, a light bitterness and light flower. It’s quenching and uncomplicated.

Bottle, at my uncle’s. A light pale golden colour with a fine creamy white head that leaves light lacing. Mild malty sweet aroma. Flavour is citric bitter ay first, then turns sweeter, but also has a slight sourish edge to it.

50 ml can. Golden colo, small white head. It´s very watery, some sweetness, moderate bitterness - very average pilsener.

500ml can at home. Yellow golden in colour under a frothy head that lasts for a while. Very anonymous aroma except for some freshness. Faint grainy taste mixed with hoppy notes. Has got a slightly better palate and is not so overcarbonated as many other Norwegian beers of its kind, but still rather dull (27.03.2007).
