Poured from bottle a reddish brown with a sweet yeasty smell. The flavor hits with a brown sugar and raisans with a good acidic bite from the high carbonation. The yeast is presents with the sweetness and a good balance with the hops. The ending is a little thin and watery. This is a good beer overall. I would drink it again given the right circumstance.

33 cl bottle, ’bbe’ Feb 08. Moderately cloudy red-mahogany, abundant off-white foam which doesn’t hold too long. Aromas of quince, coffee, toffee, with a sourish touch and a hint of mint . Very rich body with a nice carbonation. Rather sweet taste with notes of caramel and fruit with a gently sourish finish.

330 ml bottle from a giftpack. pours burgundy with a huge rocky tan head and lots of carbonation. aromas are very mild but whats there is nice. dark fruit, yeast, and malt comes through. ok flavours but very subdued. mostly malt with some raisons and a little yeast. mouthfeel is thin. overall it looks perfct but is a dissapintment after that.

Dark brown with huge off white lasting head. Aroma is sweet malty with ripe fruits. Sweet fruity flavor with raisins and light roasted malt. Lacks depth.

Pretty much like the others say: Malty and yeasty, spicy.
Too much to add, too little to say :)

Hazy dark brown with a huge white head and some sediment. Aroma of sweet malt and musty yeast. Sweet spicy malt taste. Some citrus and a hoppy finish. Sounds pretty good, but I was disappointed with this. None of the tastes seemed well enough defined. Result was a trifle ordinary.

Nice tan head over a very deep dark chocolate brown. Nutty ’brown’ scent that is very full. Lots of spice, some citrus, some hops and some nut? As usual these belgian dubles and tripples are hard to describe but they sure taste fine.

Bottled @ Tortula, Sao Paulo, Brazil. A dark brown beer with a big tan head. Aroma is sweety and malty, notes of caramel and brown sugar. Taste is also malty, notes caramel, burnt sugar, raisins and some spices. Slightly bitter in the end.
