Pours a tall, thick froth (medium lifespan) w/ Champagne bubbles. Light to medium nectar. Flavors of dry wood, brown sugar (not sweet), a pinch of tobacco with a lemony sour dough tropshire. Leaves a cigar smoked feeling in my mouth. Drinks better as it warms (becomes more mellow). Slight alcohol on the finish. Overall: a sour style that I did enjoy with a tuna roll. blankboy (3263), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 4, 2006 Bottle. Pours a clear bubbly dark reddish-brown with a massive lasting foamy off-white head -- looks like an ice cream float. Aroma of yeast, fruit, spices, sweet malt and mild hops. Nice spicy fruity malt flavour with a mild hoppy finish. Quite carbonated. Very smooth, this goes down really easy. Light to medium bodied. Pretty good, nothing really to complain about. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 3, 2006 Bottle Pours a clear brown with a fizzy, creamy light brown head. The head lasts well and has okay lasting. Has a muted sweet aroma. I get a bunch of fruits, Raisins, grapes, plums, and a spicy touch of cherry. Has a lively carbonation and a good flavor. Has a touch of sweet bitterness. A good duration and finish. This is very refreshing. harmfuldrunk (288), New Jersey, USA

HUGE frothy off white head on top of a cloudy brownish beer. the biggest head i’ve ever seen. annoying fizzy mouthfeel that actually foams up in your mouth making it difficult to even swallow this stuff. I had to wait a half an hour for the head to go down. Quiver (139), Augusta, Georgia, USA
