May 20, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Dark brown, very hazy - almost opaque actually. Malty but surprisingly light in body considering the high alcohol volume. Some raisins and dried fruits in the aroma too. Decent indeed but hasn’t got the same sophistication as the besst Dubbels. 060194

Feb 6, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with collapsing off-white head. Aroma is fruity. Sweet fruity flavour, light sourness too, I wonder if this was clean. Finish is much the same, quite stright forward.

Apr 23, 2006 Updated: Mar 20, 2008Bottled. Hazy brown colour with mediumsized head. Aroma of caramel, malts and fruit. Also has some slight notes of alcohol lurking in the background. Flavour is caramellish, malty and toffeeish. Also some sweeness from fruits in the aftertaste. Good and wellbalanced.
