Aroma of green apple, yeast, banana, cantoloupe and Belgian spices. Flavor was very much along the same lines as the aroma with more yeast and apple cider. BigBen2120 (688), Derry, New Hampshire, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 15, 2006 Yellow murky body with white substantially large head (from the bottle), which is characteristic of the tripels I’ve tried. Very citrus-y smell, but not overly strong. Taste is strongly influenced by alcohol (which is odd, since the double has only 1% less abv, and you can hardly even tell it’s there. Some fruity (citrus?) and malt and yeast influence. Not the best Trippel I’ve had. Try their double instead. Fortunately this was ony a little more than 3$ to try (11.2 oz bottle), or do yourself a favor and try a Unibroue or Allagash. Bart (1653), Brussels, Belgium
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 13, 2006 Golden yellow coloured, with a lot of carbonation and a large white head. Rather fruity and yeasty aroma. Full body, slightly alcoholic. FInish is more bitter, alcoholic with a dryer ending. Very decent tripel. Odeed (1677), Bakersfield, California, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 2, 2006 A giant frothy head. The body even had some floaters in it. A pretty nice crisp citrus taste. eaglefan538 (2383), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 31, 2006 Not sure if it was a little overcarbonated or if the hops caused the mouthfeel to be strange. However, this was one of the better selections in the six pack I had. I liked the seemingly extra sourness of this. phleg (5), Marietta, Georgia, USA does not count | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 20, 2006 An interesting tripel--far closer to a strong, citrusy hefeweizen than anything else, really. Very lemony aroma and taste. Tons of carbonation (the bottle made a sound reminiscent of opening champagne when I popped the cap) and pours to a gigantic, frothy white head. Not overly impressed, but not disappointed either. Overall a pretty nice, albeit unique, Belgian tripel. bb (2919), Martinez, California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 16, 2006 Bottle. Golden beer with a huge white head. Floral, perfume aroma. Yeasty, apple, floral, some spice and bread all in the flavor. High carbonation. Alcohol present in taste and warming. Dry finish. Could pass on it.
