| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 10, 2006 From a 330ml. short, stubby brown bottle with a lot/packaged number on the back label.
Made a good appearance, poured a clear pale light golden with a large foamy with tiny bubbles, white head that settled into a thin foamy lacing, good carbonation.
Fresh raw apple and pear nose with a dry yeasty and an almost pale lager maltiness in the background.
A dry, crisp, carbonated smooth light bodied mouth feel, above average drinkability.
Fresh apples and pears taste, a spiciness from the hops, sugary, a pale, slightly dry bread crusty, crisp maltiness, and a dry yeastiness, a little herbal bitterness and carbonated sweet pale maltiness in the finish. A subtle alcohol warmth through out taste, always in the background.
A decent Tripel, drinkable and quaffable, if you can find it at an affordable price, recommended.

Crisp, however, with flavors of grapes? Sour fruits? Reminds me of almost a highly carbonated dry, white wine. vanvenlo (794), Glen Iris, Australia

First 2 pours into chalice were clear golden. Last pour clouded up a bit. Loverly peach-white head. Nose is thick yeast and light fruits. A small bite of alchohol. Taste is bready yeast with lots of floral fruits. Like peach like taste with a dry afterbite. Alchohol is below medium. Some softer hops. Not too shabby.
