Initial flavors of sweet plums followed by spiciness. Palate is not creamy enough in my opinion. Not a bad triple. adavis234 (133), Columbia, South Carolina, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 6, 2009 11.2oz bottle. hazy golden-yellow color, hint of green maybe. Classic Belgian effervescence, some sweet pungent sugar/alcohol in the aroma. Thick and rich, with a slightly odd spicy finish. Solid malt base, lots of depth. Some candi sugars nuances, never tangy like some tripels, more of a malt bomb. Good. MaltDawg (778), Richmond, Virginia, USA

I tried this beer on May 7, 2009 at "Smokeless Joe’s" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a hazy golden colour with a 1/2" thick white head that lasted. The aroma was grainy malt, peppery spice, and citrusy notes. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied with medium-high carbonation. The flavour was grassy malt, some bitter spicy tones and pepper.

Pours a clear yellow golden with a small off white head that diminishes quickly. Decent spotty lacing on the glass. The aroma is a strong clove and banana with citrus. Medium mouthfeel with a very sweet fruit with orange peel, banana and a dry finish. A decent tripel from Brouwerji.
