Jun 14, 2009 Poured into a trappist glass. Big white head that emitted aromas of spices. Initial flavors of sweet plums followed by spiciness. Palate is not creamy enough in my opinion. Not a bad triple.

Jun 11, 2009 11.2 oz bottle. Hazy copper/green color with a thick, lacy white head. Aroma is spicy and citrusy malts. Flavor is a sweet malty, with heavy carbonation, almost like a champagne. Pretty decent, but not spectacular.

Jun 6, 2009 11.2oz bottle. hazy golden-yellow color, hint of green maybe. Classic Belgian effervescence, some sweet pungent sugar/alcohol in the aroma. Thick and rich, with a slightly odd spicy finish. Solid malt base, lots of depth. Some candi sugars nuances, never tangy like some tripels, more of a malt bomb. Good.

Jun 5, 2009 Richmond Beer Dig. Label was almost gone - no date found. Light dry ginger ale like aroma. Cloudy light golden with massive rocky head. Very carbonated! Dry yeasty almost moldy flavor with touch of sourness and peppery bitterness. Very dry peppery finish.

May 19, 2009 Bottle poured a clear gold with a large lasting off white head. Aromas of straw, yeast, light pear and light spice. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of straw, yeast, light fruittiness and light spice with a smooth lightly sweet finish. Fairly ho-hum for a triple.

I tried this beer on May 7, 2009 at "Smokeless Joe’s" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a hazy golden colour with a 1/2" thick white head that lasted. The aroma was grainy malt, peppery spice, and citrusy notes. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied with medium-high carbonation. The flavour was grassy malt, some bitter spicy tones and pepper.

May 14, 2009 Bottle as shown. Pours a clear yellow golden with a small off white head that diminishes quickly. Decent spotty lacing on the glass. The aroma is a strong clove and banana with citrus. Medium mouthfeel with a very sweet fruit with orange peel, banana and a dry finish. A decent tripel from Brouwerji.
