| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 15, 2006 Pours a really light yellow color. Cloudy with lots of carb and a big fluffy white head. Spicy and yeasty scent. Flavor is very spicey with that Belgian malt flavor and a dry aftertaste. Nothing special here. Maddog (255), Kettering, Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 15, 2006 Once again, the Belgians get rated a little bit more stringent. This tripel pours a clear yellow with the usual super active white head. The flavor is light oak, light yeast and a touch of the alcohol presence and burn. Nothing special here, maybe a beginner’s tripel. blankboy (3261), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 6, 2006 Bottle. Pours a clear bubbly gold with a large diminishing foamy white head. Sweet aroma of yeast, fruit and spices. Fairly generic Tripel flavour, it’s fruity, spicy, a little boozy and has a touch of citrus. It’s also quite carbonated and a little watery. I wasn’t too impressed but it’s decent enough. tronraner (1939), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 17, 2006 Bottle. Pours slightly cloudy honey orange with a fluffy white head. The aroma is very yeasty, with a bit of tree bark and some cheese. The flavor is yeast, lemon, sugar, and some very distant hops. Ok, but lacks the depth of a good Tripel.
