Flavor is more of very sweet malts though. Some fruits can also be found in the flavor. Peach and a touch of bananna. This actually seemed overly sweet to me. On the palate it is light bodied and finishes quite dry rederic (1811), montréal, Quebec, Canada

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 9, 2005 This isn’t a full-bodied beer but could be considered nice on the palate as a summer sipper -- despite its thin body, Bornem Triple is smooth and fully carbonated. There’s a full head that’s still less prominent than most tripels; color is a medium gold tint that’s slightly drab. Aroma is yeasty while flavor is malty and typical triple banana-fruity, with an unripe-peach tang and a lively dry finish that’s mostly carbonation and too watery otherwise. Though there are better tripels, this might be a good choice for a warm day ... if there are no actual lower-gravity summer style beers in the fridge. boto (1336), Granby, Connecticut, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 25, 2005 Updated: Aug 1, 2005Draught: This one pours an almost clear, straw yellow color. From this, you could tell almost immediately that this was going to be a tripel "light". There was some head to it, but not too much. The aroma was a little light, with mainly components of spicy banana and yeastiness. Some alcohol to the taste. The body was definitely on the lighter side. Good, but trending to the lower half of the style. Brad (364), Berkley, Michigan, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | May 25, 2005 Hazy orange/golden, thick and frothy white lasting head. Very light carbnation, body is flat in the mouth. Aromas of yeast, spice. Flavors are mostly the spice and alcohol, metalic in the finish. A very middle of the road Tripel.
