Clear straw with an absolutely massive, loose bubble head that becomes somewhat rocky as it descends. If not for the massive head, it would look like a pilsener. Decent sweet tropical fruit nose. Rather light fruity flavor, alcohol is apparent. Calling this a tripel is pushing it. Meh. dpjuart (670), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 5, 2008 Boozy citrusy scent coming from a hazy yellow orange pour with a very thick foamy white head. Very carbonated. Nice deep taste. Citrus, vanilla, cinamon, slightly bready and yeasty. Overall sweet. Alcohol not there in the taste but is there in the warmth. A rather nice Tripple and I love tripples. Skidds (252), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 2, 2008 Pours a nice sparkling gold colour with a white head. Yeasty and slightly citrus aroma. Strong yeast flavour with a strong citrus and vanilla taste. Quite spicy and hoppy. Far from my fav tripel, but still a good one. Imperial-John (166), Mississauga, Ontario, Canada

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 27, 2008 02/11 0.33 l bottle @ Hopdevil, Zagreb. It poured hazy golden body with medium sized head. Some yeast fruitiness like apple and orange in aroma. Slightly winy as well. Fine yeasty flavor, more sweet than bitter, with orange, cookies, vanilla and raisins being most prominent. Thinner in body for the style, but one must admit alcohol is greatly hidden here. Shorter, but pleasantly sweet finish. Fine beer, but a bit industrial and cheapish. terrybail (339), London, Ontario, Canada

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 1, 2008 Poured from the bottle into a trappist glass to drink. The beer had a citrus and grainy-earthy hops aroma, with a sweet candy effect and maybe some yeast and barley too. A fairly standard amber-orange color with a thin, bubbly head that was slightly short-lived. Taste is sweet and candy-like, only a touch of bitterness. A thinner, lighter feel, without much effect on the palate; low-average carbonation. Pretty good beer, but not spectacular.
