Pours golden with white fluffy head. Aroma is fruity, musty, and spicy. Flavor is sweet, tangy but ends on a strange aftertaste affecting only the palate - an oily residue.

Dec 7, 2009 Nectarine pour with a fluffy white head. Aroma is yeasty with some sweet fruitiness as well. Flavor is sticky and sweet with a whole lot of booze upfront and in the finish. Slightly tart as well, with some light spicing.

Nov 27, 2009 Slight hazy golden coloured beer with nice white head. Malty and fruity in the nose, some spices and some citrussy-hoppy accents too. Taste is mild with some malty touches and some hints of honney. aftertaste turns dry which is good.

Nov 20, 2009 Bottle. Hazy gold body with a big, fizzy, white head that slowly diminishes. Sweet aroma of candy sugar and mold. Fruity with hints of raisin, citrus, apricot. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively approaching fizzy carbonation. It tastes of mold, candy with some tartness. One dimensional because it lacks much depth of flavors. It does give you a nice alcohol warming and an alcohol bite that adds to the hop bitterness.

Nov 14, 2009 I sampled a 330 ml bottle, which yields a hazy, golden yellow ale and a huge rocky white head with excellent lacing. Floral, citrus and alcohol dominate the aroma. Palate entry is effervescent and lightly sweet with a dry, long-lasting finish. The hop profile hides the high ABV, while the mid-palate reveals a citrus-like tartness and typical Belgian yeast profile of banana and light caramel.

ends mild bitter and dry. nice one actually. far end of the endtaste is a little too bitter, like orange peel.

Oct 25, 2009 Pours clear yellow with a small white head. Aroma is full, of fruit, cream, alcohol, and floral aromas. Flavor has a lot of pilsener-type malt and light fruits. Medium alcohol present. Medium viscosity and mouthfeel. Boozy, astringent finish. Could be a little less alcoholic in the flavor profile: In other words, it doesn’t hide the 9% at all. But still a decent Tripel in my opinion. Overall, good plus.
