CaptainCougar (5379), Rockville, Maryland, USA Jul 14, 2006 On tap at the brewpub on 4/27/06: Pours a golden bronze with a thin ring of head. Aroma is lightly toasted and grainy. Starts semi-sweet and toasty with some Munich malt and subtle hoppy balance. An ok brew, but pretty bland. goldtwins (4078), Nesconset, New York, USA May 2, 2006 Draft @ Bo’s: Clear copper color. Malty aroma with caramel, apricot and light nut. The flavor pretty much matches with caramel malt and nuts. Light body. CO2 bite. They serve their beers with a little too much carbonation. walleye (876), Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA Sep 16, 2005 from the tap to the growler to the glass. poured a weak amber with a lot of yellow in it no head. aroma a little funky hard pressed to get the malt and some caramel. flavor got sourness almost like malt vinegar, with some caramel Styles (1653), Lincoln Park, Michigan, USA Apr 17, 2005 Tap: only a slighly reddish hue more golden in color. Very little aroma and only a little malt in the flavor. Pailhead (2572), Allen Park, Michigan, USA Mar 25, 2005 On tap: Weak aroma. Just a touch of light caramel malt. Real light amber with almost no head. Light malt sweetness in the beginning si followed by that house sour finish flavor. Really not all that different from the blond except a slightly sweeter beginning.
