The aroma has notes of alcohol, wood, and soy sauce. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, alcohol, roasted malt, and soy sauce, leading to a dry, roasted, woody, and alcoholic finish. Thanks CaptainCougar for coming to Denmark and sharing this. Papsoe (15107), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Aroma of roasted malts and alcohol. Solid body, roasted malts - not overly burned - a little vanilla and a massive alcohol burn. More pure alcohol than Imperial Stout really. 300809 yespr (12407), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Aroma is solid alcohol and roasted dark malty. Roasted malt flavoured, dark and solid alcohol note. Dry and solid alcohol burn in the finish. Way too strong for my liking. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

Sweet aroma with hard roasted malt, dark chocolate, espresso and liquerice. Sweet flavour with roasted malt, liquerice and loads of alcohol. Finished with loads of warming alcohol. The alcohol releay overpowered the stout here. But not bad. hopdog (5612), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jul 28, 2005 Pitch black, dark brown head. Heavily sweet, massive molasses nose. Mild sandy aspects from earthy hops try to balance is all, but the desserty oatmeal and biscuity cereals are just too strong to handle. Nutty palate, oily, tary and soy saucy. Heavy bitterness, I wonder how many IBUs this can be.. Extreme sweetness, long burning alcohol shot finish. I appreciate the efforts to create extraordinary beers, but so long that we’ll be left with oily lifeless uncarbonated palates and more artificial sweeteners than pure malt flavors, Bos won’t be up there with my favorite breweries. I am truly impressed by their head retentions considering their high alcohol levels though.. truly impressed.
