Small white head with short retention time, transparent body with no visible carbonation, good amount of lacing, and a yellow hue. The aroma was corn and semi-sweet and ditto for the flavor along with being somewhat crisp. Smooth mouthfeel and light bodied. This beer in no way reminded me of my first beer from my Father’s refrigerator as it says in the Commerical Description. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Sep 5, 2009 This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were and left behind a transparent very softly carbonated yellow-white colored body and a fair lacing. The weak aroma was malt hop. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish. The flavor was a turn off for some reason. Not that its was so bad, but so unremarkable I didnt make any notes. Not one that I would likely buy again. shp555 (1690), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

Aroma is corn, honey, vanilla, and some spicy hops. Flavor is corn, honey, vanilla, and a spicy hoppy finish. They nailed the american swill flavor which I am not sure is good or bad... The flavor was wheaty and hints of lemon. Light body, watery, and flat. Only is you have to beer. nqualls (1428), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 25, 2008 I used to drink PBR in college because it was cheap. This beer harkened to the days of yore! I’m not going to describe it, but just imagine PBR, with a microbrew name. desurfer (1068), Pinellas Park, Florida, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 22, 2005 Pale, light yellow. Sour aroma, with a light and bland, characterless flavor. Bleh. Kinz (2215), Glen Allen, Virginia, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 8/20 | Aug 18, 2005 From brewpub sampler. Hazy, almost greenish yellow, like a wit. No aroma. Smooth, no off flavors. No flavors at all actually. No bitterness. Wonderbread. The best thing about this one is that it succeeded in being inoffensive. arjoseph (594), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Aug 17, 2005 On tap at the Nashville brewpub. I guess it’s my fault for expecting a Boscos version of PBR, but this was not at all that. It was much more like a cross between the corn-y beer they promised and a wheat beer. I would say that this definitely tastes "classically American." Pale hazy yellow in the glass with a quickly diminishing white head. Smell was faint as all hell. Taste was dominated by wheat malt with its incumbent acidity and powdered sugar sweetness, but the finish displayed the grainy flavors promised by the description. Smooth and refreshing, nice flavor intensity, longish finish. Good lighter beer.
