Nov 28, 2001 What in the heck were they thinking? Do they even know what a Trppist ale is? Cherry in a Trappist. Of course I had to try however. Needless to say this beer is crap. A whopping $5 a bottle for 12 oz. I thought I would be getting a real treat. Only thing good about it is that is bottle conditioned, which doesn’t help in any way however. Deep red in color, like cherry juice and no balance whatsoever. I drank two ounces and went for the better beers. This beer was a complete load of crud. My friends who don’t even drink beer wouldn’t touch this cherry laden junk.
