Brewed using a traditional German technique, stones heated in our wood fired ovens are lowered into the beer during the brewing process, giving the beer its unique caramel character.

On tap, Bosco’s, Little Rock. Sorry, but this beer sucks. It was completely wimpy. What a disappointing beer. I might as well have ordered Coors Light.

Nashville. Deep gold, zero head. Sour milk aroma. Flavor is grapey, BMC, and sweetish, with a touch of mouth-vomit. Light yet round palate.

Tasted on tap at Nashville Brewpub. This ale pours a light gold color. Small head. Aroma is fruity and malty. A light to medium bodied ale. Malts are caramel, fruity and sweet, but a little on the mild side. Hops are slightly bitter and slightly spicy. Mild lager style ale, brewed for the BMC crowd? Still it’s very drinkable. Nice balance. Smooth taste. Good carbonation. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

On tap at the Little Rock location. Pours dense yellow gold. Faint aroma is a bit floral. reminiscent of cream ale. very good for a light beer - it has flavor. some boiling hops were used, no contamination - which would be very obvious due to the lightness of this beer. an excellent beginner craft brew. I could see them doing well in competition with this.

New rating for Little Rock. Gave it the same rating, a nice drinkable brew. On tap at the Nashville brewpub. The body was medium yellow with little head. The aroma was sweet strawberries with flowers. There was also a hint of iced tea. The taste was malty with toffee and some orange rind bitterness. The taste was a bit of grass with a fresh cut character. This was nice and smooth with a smooth thin body.

Draft at the Nashville brewpub, 5/14/06: Dark golden with a thin wisp of foam. Good body. Slight tartness with a bit of golden apple tartness. Solid sweet malt beer that’s exceptionally well made.

(On tap) Memphis. Clear, pale amber. Small, off-white head. Vague caramelish nose. Light body with fruity notes and some caramel. Dry finish. Quite lovely. 280306

Nashville. Transparent, magnifying coppertone with a creamy snow dust layer lining the top. White wonderbread starts the aroma, joined by tiny lemon suggestions and watered down Fabreeze spray. Bready sweet character in line with a kolsch. Sugary crescent rolls. Modified corn bread made with white corn meal. Light fairing farce, but no searing acidity (don’t know if it’s the stones that countermand that trait.) Finish is sweet rolls and tiny lemon biscuits. Decent, for what it is.
