Brewed using a traditional German technique, stones heated in our wood fired ovens are lowered into the beer during the brewing process, giving the beer its unique caramel character.

My favorite Bosco beer so far. Nice light golden color with a slight white head. Very smooth, very easy to drink (too easy, actually) for as full a body as this beer had.

Clear dark gold with a small white head. Sweet, burnt caramel aromas. Light and sweet with carmelized malts and some fruit. Woodsy, bready finish. Pretty tasty.

Deep gold color with light off white head that faded quickly. Beer was really smooth and easy to drink but just not enough hops at the end to suit me. I couldn’t find the caramel that others with me said they found. My least favorite of 4 good beers on the evening which isn’t a bad reflection just not great

Had at Boscos Squared in Memphis. Pretty good brew, golden in color, slightly hazy. No head was on my beer which you’d think there’d be a little as it came on tap. Flavor is subtle though full bodied. Nice beer, went well with the food. Will have again when I’m there, won’t make it a point to go there for this though. ADD-ON: Was there again, and had this beer. It again was very good, dry finish, would call it almost breadsy at points. Look forward to my next outing there.

Mild, sweet, grainy malt aroma. Clear blonde body with a decent covering of fine bubbled white head that lasts well. Mild flavour offers a gentle sweet maltiness and light bitterness that balance well. Fairly simple, clean and straight-forward. Light body with strong, crisp carbonation that is effervescent in the mouth. Sampled at GABF 2005.

Ho-hum. Looks like MGD, tastes like Killian’s. Sugary aroma. I’ve definitely had better.

Clear gold. Mild carbonation; light body. Very rich malts, exuding with caramel. Other flavors of toast, toffee and bread. OK bitterness, but not quite enough to balance out the Sugar Daddy sweetness. Nevertheless, it’s a rather tasty beer.
