Brewed using a traditional German technique, stones heated in our wood fired ovens are lowered into the beer during the brewing process, giving the beer its unique caramel character.

An an amazing light bodied hefe stone beer with these amazing notes of carmel and toffee. I throughly enjoyed this the pub also had a great IPA on tap as well. Page 69 of Michael Jackson’s Great Beer Guide only 457 of his 500 Classic Brews to go.

Nashville. Very very good!!! Looke liks bud but it tastes like a Brach’s caramel candy. You have to wait for it, but when you think it’s all said and done, POW! the Caramel flavor hits you.

My favorite Bosco beer so far. Nice light golden color with a slight white head. Very smooth, very easy to drink (too easy, actually) for as full a body as this beer had.

Very unique beer... reminds me somewhat of Anchor Steam. Worth trying in you’re in Nashville or Memphis...

Really surprised at the low average on this one. Maybe I just got exicted that this one was different than something you’d get in theaverage micro line-up. -Aroma: Malty nose but a little too soft -Appearance: Nice deep bronze -Flavor: Really enjoyed the flavor on this one. Very fullbodied with a load of caramel malt -Palate: Again very full yet very smooth and refreshing -Overall: I really enjoyed this one and was surprised at the low average rating it currently has. Maybe I just got exicted that this one was different than something you’d get in the average micro line-up.

This is the first beer I tried at Boscos, in Germantown, TN. The carmel flavor is intense, though I tried it because of the unique stone brewing. I drank it because of the taste - try this it’s worth the trip. Boscos are in Germantown and Nashville (near Vanderbilt), TN.

Draft at the Nashville brewpub, 5/14/06: Dark golden with a thin wisp of foam. Good body. Slight tartness with a bit of golden apple tartness. Solid sweet malt beer that’s exceptionally well made.
