Caramel is the first noticeable aroma for me, but it is quickly accompanied by fresh cereals, bready earthiness and leafy herbs. Palate is rather thin, flavours pretty short and the texture watery and airy, so combined with the hard to smell aroma, it is still a feather weight. BeerHawk (1175), Huntsville, Alabama, USA

Malty chocolate smells. Tastes of caramel, chocolate, wood, and a hint of hops. Light to medium body but slightly watery. desurfer (1068), Pinellas Park, Florida, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 19, 2005 On tap, 16 oz. Shaker glass, Nashville Brewpub. Bread, grass and skunk in the nose. Brown amber in the glass with an off-white eggshell head. Great sticky lacing with nice sub-surface racing. Great beer to look at. Flavor: grainy with prickly acidity at first; mealy finish with Munich malt (maybe?). Somewhat caramelly, becomes chewier through the finish. Good soft level of carbonation, nice malty and natural sweetness, medium bodied. Very enjoyable. BeerandBlues2 (3224), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA
