Actually had this on tap at the Memphis location.. Clear golden pour, fluffy head and some of the most impressive lacing I’ve ever seen. Aroma of sweet malts and maybe a little floral to it.. Doesn’t smell as hoppy as I was expecting.. Starts out sweet with the malts and explodes into a hoppy citrusy bomb on the finish.. Still, for a brew called HopGod, I was expecting something much hoppier. Its good but not great.

On tap at the Memphis location. Poured a nice golden amber with a creamy white head. Great lacing. Sweet malts on the nose with just a trace of hop character. Flavor follows through on those sweet malts, but there’s some spicy, citrus character from the hops. The finish has a very slight burn from those hops, and it leaves that spicy hoppiness on your palate. It is quite nice. With a name like HopGod, you might think think it was hoppier than those 78 IBU’s though. Will be drinking this again whenever I’m home.

Draught. Pours clear gold with a small white head. The nose is pretty nice with clean, cutting citrus. Grapefruit is most noticed, but a bright and floral bouquet exists. The mouthfeel is rather light, but packs a drying punch. Pine, grapefruit, and light bready malts comprise the flavor. The hops really cut through this lightly sweet and very clean ale.

On tap at Bosco’s, Little Rock, Arkansas. Nice copper pour, with a tan, foamy head. Nose was citrus and hops resin. Flavor was citrusy and the ale had a nice, hoppy finish, though not as hoppy as I prefer.
