I can tell right away that this is going to be a "controversial" beer. Poured into a snifter: very black. with very thin off-white head. A very pruny beer. Prune is heavy in the nose and taste and liquorish notes too. Caramel malts and a little toffee in there. Smoky and finishes not that bitter.
I’m a fan, but I’m weird and I like prune. This beer isn’t for everyone. ogivlado (3088), Zagreb, Croatia

Roasted malt, caramel and burnt sugar with strong licorice presence. Some fruity chocolate notes in the finish. Not so good and a way too sweet porter. bierkoning (6077), La Tropica, Netherlands
