Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear warm reddish brown with a beige head. Sweet aroma of burned caramel, pumpernickel and a little diacetyl. Solid malty body, roasted malts, licorice and burned caramel. A little warming alcohol in the finish. Pleasant. 031009

A clear dark red/brown colored beer, with a thick foamy beige head. The aroma of dark caramel, ruits like cherries. There is sweet with some chocolate. The taste of caramel malts with hints of chocolate. There is bitterness with nutes in the back. The aftertaste is bittersweet.

Boss beer is imported a few towns over from me so I’ve been trying to try a few of their beers. I got this in a 50cL bottle at my usual place. The color was dark, the head started strong, but quickly dissipated, I thought the overall flavor was too fruity. I’d probably stick to their porter in the future.

Poured a caramel shade of brown with a very thin white head. Hard to pick up too much of an aroma, but what maltiness I did pick up was pleasant enough. Bit of a nutty flavor to it, with a roastiness and some definite big caramel presence. Not a bad beer, but I much preferred their porter.

500ml bottle from Capital Market, Salem. Mahogany dense brown colouredtight bubbly, half inch tan head. Nice Gorgeous aromas choclate, dark sweet malt, coffee, very comforting for some reason. Flavours are similar to the aroma, but with a slight fruitiness, like sultanas. Palate lets the show down a bit, quite thin and fades out too fast in the finish Overall a nice dunkler bock, I really "dig" Polish beers for some reason..

Dark amber pour, very sweet caramel roasted malt aroma. Tastes of more roasted malt, caramel and nuts, a little dark fruit and chocolate with very mild hops. Nice beer, fair carbonation/mouthfeel.

Bottle from Kent Beer Festival, Canterbury: Poured a rich black. A little cold so aroma wasn’t very pronounced, a little coffee and roasted malt. Lovely satisfying flavour full of chocolate, coffee and roasted malt. Nice viscosity, lovely beer.
