| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Dec 31, 2006 Good malty flavors here, heavy on the sweet with some notes of brown sugar and dates, but it seemed to go flat after a few minutes. After that, the enjoyability went down significantly. argo0 (6948), Washington DC, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 2, 2006 strange aroma, like pickles (dill- & vinegar,) toasty malt, green hops, alcohol. clear brown color, quick head. a little thick & a little oily on the tongue, sweet but not treacly. sweet flavors but not overpowering or sharp, the rounded edge where honey meets maple (a good beer for an ice cream float), clean finish for so sweet a beer. skoisirius (584), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 29, 2006 500 ml bottle at 6% into a Mug style glass. Pours a very reddish light brown with a frothy off white to tan head (it really does look like tea!). An incredible sweet and carmaly malt aroma comes off this guy. A fairly straightforward flavor, this brings a heavy sweet malt mixed with vanilla, and balancing it off it has some very Earthy herbs and wood flavors in the main portion of the body. A light spice in thrown into the mix near the finish until it is overswept by again by carmaly malts. Quite thin bodied. Simple, easy, nothing fantastic but good enough to drink again sometime. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 28, 2006 Bottled. Poured clear iced tea brown with a tall cap of creamy yellowy-beige head. Nose was just ridiculously sweet.. airy caramel and tubs of sweetness with some woodsy notes. Flavor had extra-sweet caramel at the core with slightly heavier molasses and some herbal/woodsy hops... smooth middle with an extra-sweet finish. Not bad, but I think drinking any more than 1 of these may induce diabetes. RichardGretton (3152), Leicestershire, England

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Nov 12, 2006 Clear dark brew that had a bit of caramel on the nose and well as some mildy roasted sweet malt. Not a bad brew but very thin on the tongue witha taste that turned a bit acrid fast.
