(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of fiver29. Pours a hazy pale golden with a dense white head leaving some laces. Spicy, sweetish fruity and even flowery aroma. Full-bodied with sweetish pale malts and very sweet fruit esters. Subdued bitterness. 041008

Bottle, 7.5%. Sweet and spicy aroma. Cloudy golden colour. The flavour is sweet and spicy, but unfortunately has some metal/blood. Good mouthfeel.

2004 330 ml bottle from Bottleworks; Nose of golden raisins, yeast, and light Belgian spices (mostly cloves); lightly hazy yellow with a huge, glass-lacing, longlasting, pale yellowish head; Flavor has a little hop bitterness, lots of clove and corriander spiciness and pepperiness, and a minor tart note; it finishes with mild bitterness.

11.2 oz bottle, 2004 vintage.. Poured near-clear pale-medium golden with a creamy cap of white head.. left nice lacing as it descended. The aroma picked up sweet, candied lighter fruits (pear and apricot), floral notes, and aged, spicy yeast. The flavor had a banana and clovey impression from the yeast with pear sweetness.. spicier on the finish with some tart light fruit skins. Medium-bodied a touch fuller mouthfeel.. spicy overall and probably a little past its prime.

2004. Poured golden with a large off-white head. Malty sweet aroma with some aged character to it. Some fruity pear notes. Malty and sweet start that turns fruity and mild-moderately tart. Clean finish with a mild warmth.

Gold with a nice white head. Aroma is vinegar, apples, yeast, lightly maltiness. Interesting aroma. Taste is light alcohol, light fruitiness, some mild spiciness to it, and yeast rounds it off.
