750mL bottle, courtesy of argo0. Thanks, Aaron! Pours a cloudy, yellow appearance; white head with patchy retention. Plenty of lemon, butterscotch, dishsoap, and hints of a yeasty character in the aroma. Medium mouthfeel: lemon, bready notes, some wet malts and yeast; hints of a warming butterscotch; pleasant golden belgian character. Medium yeasty and lemony finish.

(750ml bottle) Slightly hazed straw body topped by large white head, some lacing. Aroma is sweet, perfume, honey, some orange. It’s very fragrant, but I’m not a big fan of the fragrance. Taste is medium sweet, herbal/straw, flower, some peach, pepper. Effervescent medium body.

750 from HiTime. I’m not sure if this bottle is past its prime, but there’s a slight funk to this that cuts against the freshness and crispness I want from a blonde. Certainly more than drinkable, even enjoyable in some respects, but not anything I’d necessarily seek out again.

750 ml bottle from HiTimeWine - Pours a hazy golden color with a good size white head. Light lacing. Aroma is banana, citrus, and yeast. Flavor is much of the same with a noticeable touch of spice. A smooth, light to medium body beer. Not being a big Belgium beer fan, this beer was a little better than I expected. Worth a try.

750mL, Bottled - 2004. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a three finger bone white head--looking closer I see a few brown floaties dancing in the bubbles. Aroma of some lemons, bananas, yeast, candy sugar, sugar cookies, must and light dusty hops. Flavor was much more fruity with a musty tang of moldy oranges, a bit of funk that takes a little getting used to, and a bit of spices. Dry finish. Moderate carbonation with a light--medium body. Not too bad, though not fantastic, either.

12oz bottle pours blonde slightly cloudy wtih a short offwhite creamy head that stays pretty well and laces some on the trappist glass. Aromas of funk, yeast, sweat socks, and a little lemon. Flavor is quite funky too. Yeast, cookie dough, lemon, apple, and some musty flavor too. Palate is pretty smooth and light with not too much carbonation. Soft mouthfeel.

Cloudy gold blond. Funky yeast. Little carbonation. Full mouthfeel. Funk musty lemon. Thanks TheBungyo for another odd and interesting Proef. Aged fruit.

Bottle pours a slightly hazy, light yellow with a massively thick and dense brightwhite head. Several minutes later and it was still full and merangue-like. Amazing. Aromas mainly of light Belgian yeast notes and some lemon or orange citrusy bits as well. Flavor was similar, but ligheter and a bit of apples and apricots. Soft palate with moderate carbonation. Nice slightly bitter trailer.
