Dark brown to chestnut in color. Bubbly tan head that is regenerated with all the carbonation rising out of the brew. Sweet sherry aromas, with hints of fig and light oak. Nothing overly complex, but quite appealing. Sweet malt dominates the flavors. Earthy malt, heavy caramel, a touch of treacle, hints of oak. Lightly spicy in the finish and linger, with light cloves, cinnamon, cloves and even ginger. Warming in the finish and the stomach. Silky, slick, thick and full in feel, with plenty of effervescence to gently coast it over the tongue. A fine effort. Thanks MrFacto for dropping this one off.

Milwaukee YEHa!05, brought by 1FastSTi. Big bready, caramely aroma with toast, raisin, and even a touch of banana, a bit bock-like to a degree, opening up with more sweetness as the beer warmed. Chocolatey brown body, medium creamy cream-colored head, pardon the redundancy. Sharp chocolatey flavor with dark fruits, a hint of licorice, caramel, and warming alcohol. Tart, very sweet and sugary. Not a bad beer, though a bit harsh, at least not to the point of being cloying.

Murky, hazy milk chocolate color with some sediment lurking near the surface and a blanketing, white, doily shaped head. Sweet bananarama, nutmeg, brandied prunes, cinnamon, brown sugar, cocoa butter and cinnamon raisin toast work out a forceful aromatic display. Hits the palate and a champagne effervesce encapsulates with prunes and caramelized plums for the secondary flavor composure - it’d be futile to delve too far into the historically significant fruity banana esters, so let the record state that that the peel has come off and the mushy phallic wonder is by far the leading lady. Dark skin fruit libation and a sweet, sticky palate smack. Mild pumpernickel and whole wheat bread suggestions mingle somewhat subconsciously in the finish, all because the continual domination off bananas basking in liquefied brown sugar still holds center stage. Thanks for bringing this one, Blake.

Major banana, chocolate and caramel on the nose. Dark, dark brown with a kahki head. Flavors of chocolate, banana, chewy toffee with some coffee and a slight spice in the finish. Great, creamy palate and very full bodied. Thanks to 1FastSTi for sharing.

I brought this to the MKE YeHA! Pours to a deep red body with a creamy white head. The aroma is full of banana Runts candy, oak, and figs. Sweet. The flavor is sweet molasses and candied bananas and figs. Vanilla. Chocolate. Sweet. The alcohol is hidden quite well. Warming body. Good and full mouthfeel. Creamy. Lively.

Marzipan, bubblegum, liquorice, oak, soy and pastry dough in the complex and sweet aroma. Opaque dark brown body with low tan head that recedes to lasting cover with some lace. Big, sweet, doughy, yeasty flavour with brown sugar, vanilla and molasses also apparent. Medium-full body with lively, strong effervescence that tickles the tastebuds. Bottle enjoyed with martinT and Olivier_MTL.
