2005 RBSG Montreal Friday Night Tasting. Hazy dark brown with a lasting frothy off-white head. Toffee, citrus, yeasty aroma. Toffee, orange, raisin, molasses, and light alcohol flavours. Full bodied, warming, and lightly syrupy.

Ratings from noog and previous tasting. Bottle, dark brown with orange hints. Huge fruity notes in the aroma - also some cinnamon spice and peppery alcohol. Sugary sweet malty flavor, with lots of darker fruits like plums. Alcohol was fairly present.

Noogfest Deep dark brown colorwith a decent white head. Laces very well. Rich caramel aroma with fruit and some spice. Spritzy mouthfeel from the carbonation.

The body poured a dark brown and red. Bubblegum and bananas in the aroma. Also some peaches and cinnamon. The taste had dark bread with plums, maple and cherries. Very well made brew with no detection of alcohol.

Cloudy orange, thin, off-white head. winey, grapey aroma. Tart, but also a woodsy, oaky flavor. Sweet, but also some roasty malty flavors, as well. Nice combination of sweet and tart.

Pours a hazy orange color, nice white head. Bottle is a gusher! Aroma is sweet, fruits and malts, caramel, peaches, lemons, almonds. Flavor is sweet, but not too much so, more of the above with some darker roasted notes as well. (Chocolate)

Well carbonated, rusted red/orange in color with a dimishing off white head. Aromas were sweeter/fruity malts, caramel, apple, raisens, some drier roasted malts off set the sweetness. Flavor was caramel, raisen, banana, and dry alcohol. Thick lacing left a well designed glass.

The 750 ml bottle opens gushing a little. The color is watered down brown with a big head that settles quick though. Aroma is caramel with some roasted malts. The taste is dried fruits but not rich enough. The flavors are layered with some tobacco, raisen, banana and caramel and toffee. Mouthfeel is dry and on the heavy side.
