| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jan 24, 2005 Creamed corn, cereal malt and caramelized maple sweetness in the aroma. Opaque tan-gold with shy white head that lasts nicely and recedes with some lacing. Creamed corn and pea soup dominate the flavour with some cereal malts and sugariness. Strong carbonation and slightly oily texture with medium body. Bottle enjoyed with MartinT, muzzlehatch and Rastacouere. MartinT (5068), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 24, 2005 The Lure: Imperial DMS reigns supreme over a sadly promising lemony, citrusy zestiness and an apt cereal base. Corn cobs cannot entice me to take many sips of this.
The Festivities: A little alcohol emboldens the citrus fruit and sweet malt potential, but that virus called DMS afflicts all of them.
Transcendence: I don’t feel like having veggies with dinner tonight. Rastacouere (5561), Montréal, Quebec, Canada
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 24, 2005 Rather clear light golden-amber. Nice stocky head, sticking to the glass nicely. Unadequate nose containing medium DMS that really detracts from the other flavors bringing those pea, vegetal and corn components into an otherwise pleasant yesty and lightly alcoholic cereal ground. The vegetal aspect dominates the palate unfortunately, bringing a taste of cauliflower. Creamy texture, highly carbonated, medium body. Too bad. mdi (573), Nebraska, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Jan 12, 2005 OK, I wrote this review when I was fairly loaded, It gets kinda wierd, which I think is funny.
33cl bottle of a different shape than picured here. bottled 2004. Perfect appearance, bright bronze color, billowing white head slowly falls coating the galss in luscious lace. Rushing carbonation, some particles floating around. Holy crap, is this Westmalle? The nose reminds me of that beer...fruitgum...feels full in the mouth, but not thick...said the blonde pornstar to the stud. Goes down real easy, she winks. Kinda creamy, what that stuff floating in the glass?? This review is getting weird, but it should continue in this manner for the best results and most accurate rating. In the background Spoon drones on...Girls can see the moonlight? Its not bitter or hot while it slides down my thoat, the girl says. After looking at it and smelling it, I couldn’t wait to get it in my mouth. It seemed almost as eager as I was for that to happen. Its like getting slapped in the face with a stick of juicy gum. Most have a lot of protein in it, the head is awesome, with the sticky white froth coating the glass. It just takes me over and has its way with me. I’ve had a lot of beers lately, and this one makes me remember why I love beer so much. I think I could drink this all day. But it does make me burp when I swallow it. Really solid. Leaves me a bit dizzy & wacky. This one gives it to me better than most of the monks do...Here at Ratebeer Lounge, no one’s afraid to laugh. Ernest (4500), Boulder, Colorado, USA

Dark lemony colored pour that produced a thick lacy head.
Ripe citrus aroma. Musty fruit cellar.
The flavor is moderately complex. Sweetness, some acidic tartness, fading into a dryer finish. Metalhead (571), Lake Zurich, Illinois, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 1, 2004 This bottle was about 9 mos old.Hazy peach color with a short lived 2 finger head. Aroma is very faint fleshy fruits. Tasted pretty much the same. Slightly sweet and dry at the same time. Easy to drink. No alcohol presence at all. This is a beer in the imagination series. I wish they had imagined a way to get more flavor into this. Not bad but not much to it. igel (196), New Mexico, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 17, 2004 Golden color, transparent, with plentiful co2 rising from the bottom of the glass. Head is full, white and rocky with a sticky lacing. Aroma is a subtle mixture of apples, pears, fruity esters, and candy sugar. Palate is medium bodied and a little watery – effervescence is not very apparent. Tastes sweet and fruity at the start with a tart middle and a quick sharp bite at the finish.
A nice and subtle aroma and flavor, but the finish overwhelms the less aggressive qualities. Not a great representation of a triple.
