Jun 23, 2006 Cloudy golden brown that pours with a rocky, dense, but not tall white head. Maple syrup and yeast aroma. Sweet malt flavor along with the maple syrup again, some fruit, and spices that develops a citrus tartness near the end. Warmth of the 9.8% ABV eventually becomes evident as well. Very complex, yet well balanced. Quite interesting.

Jun 22, 2006 appearance is cloudy orange/yellow with lacy white head. aroma is pineapple and grapefruit, very sweet aroma, must have lots of candi sugar, with some honey and molasses as well. the flavor is lemon, honey, yeast, and pineapple. its very very sweet. palate is mouthpuckeringly sweet with a clinging mouthfeel.

Jun 20, 2006 2002 vintage 750 ml bottle into a Snifter glass. Pours a darker cloudy yellow with a smaller sized foamy white head. Aroms brings a citrusy sweet yeast smell. Flavor tends to lean on sweet maltiness along with a yeast earthy note to it with some hops tossing around in there near the finish. Fairly carbonated. Not very smooth down the throat. A fairly good tripel, while definitely having better options out there, but the price is absolutely incredible! Another great brew conjured up for us at Bottleworks Seattle!

Jun 16, 2006 Pour is a dark hazy yellow with a nice sized white head. Aroma is some candy sugar and citrus. Flavor is peppery with some yeast and spice. Alcohol is almost non-existant. Like others have said not the best tripel but the price of $1.29 can’t be beat.

Jun 6, 2006 Pours wtih an orangish-gold body topped by a meidum thick head with little lacing. The aroma is slightly sweet and grassy wtih a slight yeasty note. The flavor is sweet and malty with a slight grassy hop note. Light to medium bodied and smooth.

May 22, 2006 A ho-hum tripel if there ever was one. An orang/yellow body with a decent head. Aroma notes of orange and lemon rind and honey. Flavors were more malty than anything with some spices, some hops and coriander are also present. I liked the coriander part, but the rest was average. I might revisit this in the future.

May 18, 2006 2002: Pour is hazed bright yellow with a thin dense white head...smell is dirty and musty...very funky and yeasty too...maybe a cork smell too...taste is cloves, malt, sweet overall and a little citric...alcohol never really noticable...not bad by any means, but not very interesting either...

May 16, 2006 2002 11.2 oz bottle-hazy orange with alot of yeast chunks. Fine carbonation with an off-white head. nose of pale grains, lightly oxidized malt, and some light belgian estery funk. flavors are sweet with lots of honeysuckle notes and lightly oxidized malt. body is medium with fizzy carbonation and a slick feeling. alcohol is evident and becomes warming over time. as the beer warmed the nose became more funky with tones of horseblanket. not a bad deal at $1.29 a bottle.
