Bottle from Eyedrinkale. Very fruity. Peach, apple, banana. Dough. Chewy, thick mouthfeel. Sweet, but never cloying. Alcohol warming is prominent. Clove. Lemon/orange. Relatively tasty beer, but I prefer the alcohol more subdued and the palate lighter.

Holy snowglobe. Lots of floaties in this hazy golden coloured ale. Big foamy head with nice lacing. Armoa is sweet candy and an abundance of fruits like banana matched with a doughy spiciness. Robust flavour of apple, grape, citrus with a nice malty balance. Alcohol only hits at the end.

Slightly cloudy amber with some chunks in the body. Full creamy off-white head. Honey and sweet flowers aroma. Sweet appley alcohol taste with some wood, cinnamon spices, override strawberries and bananas. Gets a bit sweet at times, but its otherwise very good. Slight honey aftertaste.

Points added for the golden body and the huge rocky head. Points subtracted for the vast number of floaties even after a careful pour. It’s got a pleasant, light aroma of fresh dough, light fruits, and yeast. These persist into the flavor, also quite light. The fruits are sweet apples, bananas, grapes, and delicately sweet cherries. The abv goes unnoticed until the blood begins to warm. A nice understated drink.

Purchased at Sam’s Wine, Chicago. Very slightly hazy light yellow with a grand, frothy white head. Fruity aroma: banana, orange, vanilla, caramel, and donut dough. Mildly spicy flavor is more yeasty and doughy than the aroma would lead one to believe. Finish is medium-spicy, moderately grainy (wheat), and slightly alcoholic. Alcohol isn’t really noticeable until the finish and into the lasting aftertaste.

Pours a light straw-amber with a white head three times the size of the beer that fades very slowly. Aroma is cider, citrus zest, some spiciness, slight barnyard, and a light slightly grainy malt. Flavor is of candi sugar, light fruits (apples & white grapes), some grain, a little alcohol, barnyard. On the finish the alcohol lightly wafts through the sinuses, it is apparent but doesn’t really sting or burn. Medium body with a thin but slightly froathy mouthfeel. Just a little sweet but not quite cloying like many other dubbels and tripels. Overall I like this beer a good deal.

330ml bottle. Yellow orange gold color, slightly hazy. Large sized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity, citrusy and lemony. A medium bodied Belgian Tripel. Malts are fruity and citrusy, lots of lemon. Touch of clove and coriander, honey, cobwebs, orange rinds, herbal and musty. In other words a fairly typical mix of flavors. This beer hides the 9.8% alcohol very well. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is dry and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
