Mild bronze gold color with a dollop of head and good retention. Rather boring, slightly grainy.

Pours golden with a medium off-white had with good lacing. Nose is initial sweet malt with honey notes. Flavor of honey/peach/apricot, slight floral hops notes, very low bitterness and almost no aftertaste. Buttery mouthfeel. Very good blonde.

Mostly appley aroma.Clear gold - good lasting head. Appley flavor too. Smooth easy drinker. Nothing spectacular here but I think it’s good. 22 seems low to me.

Aroma of medium brown malt backed by non-descript hop. The malt seems dominant. Brassy color with a white head that left tatters of light lacing. Bit thin in the body. The carbonation is sharp. Something of a citrus impression - like sour fruit. That’s not bad, just different. There’s a fruit/veg note to the fairly dry finish - sort of a mouth coat. A note of citrus sour to the back of the mouth. Bitter is sort of a background to all that. Lots of pejorative terms above, and they really aren’t intended in a bad way. It is a different and interesting ale. Very quaffable.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of Degarth. Pours a clear, deep golden with a small, white head. Typical American aroma hoppiness in the nose. Fairly light body, light notes of malt and some overripe fruit. The finish is dry. 200507

33 cl bottle, Fargo. Pale golden colour, whispy head. Sweet malt aroma, tight carbonation, slightly sweet and sour taste, not sure it’s to my liking but worth a try.

Pours a clear gold with a rocky off-white head and decent lacing. The aroma is a muted white bread and honey. Mouthfeel is light and thin with a dry and slightly metallic finish. Tastes of honey and malt and finishes crisp and somewhat dry. No hop notes to speak of, and hop heads should look elsewhere. This is, however, an easy drinker and could make a nice summer session if your tastes swing towards the sweet side of things.
