12 oz bottle, via kenb. Pours a clear gold colored body under a small very fizzy off-white head that faded quickly. Aroma is pretty light, some doughy malt and corn notes mostly. A quite noticable amount of DMS spoils the fun. Light flavor as well. A little malt up front, then the corn and DMS rule the finish. Mouthfeel is thin and light bodied as expected with moderate fizzy forced carbonation. This was a problem beer for sure. An unacceptable level of DMS wouldn’t let me focus on anything else.

Bottled. Beer is clear, medium-hued gold. Head is initially largish, frothy, white. Diminishes quickly, leaving a ring and some specks of lace on the snifter.
The aroma is, again, more than I was expecting. It’s malty with light notes of toasted grain, biscuits, caramel; Hoppy with moderate floral notes reminiscent of honeysuckle; Yeasty with a trace of sharp cheddar cheese; Trace of vanilla.
The flavor is moderately-to-heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter with an average-length, lightly acidic, lightly bittersweet finish. Little metallic in the aftertaste and a little watery.
The body is light, the texture is watery and the carbonation is lively.
Drinkable and exceeds the expectations I’ve developed based on word of mouth.

Bottle purchased at Bodega Blue... Sparkling clear yellow ale with a small, frothy, white head. Strange, earthy nose of sweaty socks, jalapeño, white pepper and mild acidity. Sweet, tangy flavor with modest herbal bitterness and biscuity malts. Medium-bodied with a whole-milk mouthfeel and tingly carbonation. Crisp finish. Better than expected!

White head, thin. Bold gold color, hence the name. Slightly watered down, good with a burger or sandwich.

Clear copper. Thin white fizzy head. Sweet-n-stale malt aroma. Very very light hops. Fruity amber malt taste, a little watery and lightly sweet hopped. Okay, but not too good.
