| 0.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Sep 4, 2006 Bottle from Rock Bottom in Denver: Pale golden color with a medium thin white head and thin rings of lacing. Vinegar dominates the nose making me wary of a bad bottle. Light-bodied and astringent, tasting of stale malt and vinegar. The finish is overly tart with more sourness. Assuming Rock Bottom is carrying old stock, either way this was pretty much undrinkable. argo0 (6939), Washington DC, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Sep 4, 2006 (12oz bottle) Clear amber body with small white head that rapidly diminishes. Aroma is moderately sweet, butterscotch, some caramel, faint grassy. Taste is moderately sweet, peach, butter, light caramel, orange/floral. Light body, light stickiness. nick76 (2669), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jul 3, 2006 The aroma has butter, malt, and a basement like yeast smell. The hops are grassy and difficult to smell. The appearance is deep gold with a tiny head. The flavor is very malty with some caramel and butterscotch. The hop bitterness is low. The palate is thin and lacking enough carbonation. There is a little bit of citrus in the finish. I wanted to rank this higher because the flavor is really good but it’s watery so 3 is pushing it a little. eggman (45), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Apr 17, 2006 12 oz. bottle, purchased by a friend for my 30th birthday as part of the World Market “Beers Of America” 10-pack...Pours a flat, light-copper with an average, rocky, light-yellow head that did not last. Very spare lacing...Smell light cookie malts and light flower hops. Can definitely pick up a fruity aroma, mostly peach...Light bodied and thin in texture, with average carbonation...Very sweet, but well-balanced with a slightly bitter finish...A liquid fruit basket of peach, pear, and banana. Quite refreshing and it definitely exceeded expectations. The best way to sum it up: A very low hopped APA mixed with an extremely filtered wheat beer. Good summer time and gateway brew. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 26, 2006 Orange is the predominant descriptor, both in terms of colour and citrus notes in the flavour. Has a light head and a clean finish. Little aroma to speak of, but a nice crisp golden ale with little aftertaste. Nothing special, but a good ale. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jan 21, 2006 Biscuity and jammy, some nice freash bread flavors covered in fruit jam, but then dropped in the grass. Decent little beer, easy to drink, and very crisp in the finish. Sincere (145), wichita, Kansas, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Jan 20, 2006 12 oz bottle. Little to no head on decent pour. Light yellow in color, and light bodied as well. Smelled lightly of honey and hops. The beginning, mid and endtaste was smooth. Another decent ale out of Boulder. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jan 16, 2006 Bottle (12oz). Poured clear gold with a smallish white foamy head. Slightly vegetal grainy stale malt nose with some stale hops, a little fruity (apricot, orange); sweet. Taste is a fruit/grain blend - apricot, pineapple and orange juice - flat mouthfeel, decent body, no linger to speak of - ehhh.
