This is a light non-hoppy pale ale that has nothing very distinguishing about it (that’s probably why is sells well in this market). I had this out of a keg that was offered at an office party. This a beer that gives the appearance of being a micro and the taste to go along with it. Don’t get me wrong...I would swill this any time over the marco coors beers...ok, maybe not blue moon but still.... OhioDad (2491), Hilliard, Ohio, USA

Aroma is grapefruit and a touch of apricot. Flavor is a nice blend of grapefruit hops and grainy caramel malts. Palate is smooth and somewhat on the watery side with a fair bitter finish. Drinkable but nothing outstanding.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 16, 2005 Pours a light copper color with a thin head and some lacing. Aroma has a light apricot floral hop character with light malt background. Slightly tart with an ok finish- and slightly earthy like some english golden ales. zach8270 (2127), Henrietta, New York, USA

Aroma of citrus, toffee, hops and some grass. The taste begins slightly bitter with a rather odd flavored middle... seems like a mix of stale, dry grass with some citrus and topped off with a little bit of hops. Very light-bodied and bitter at the end. tiggmtl (4311), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Dec 7, 2005 Grapefruit and orange citrus notes to the floral, hop forward aroma. Hazy, deep golden body is topped by a low white head that coats the glass. Pleasant grainy malt sweetness is joined by orange citrus, floral hop flavours and light finishing bitterness. Light body with moderate carbonation. Sampled on tap at Rock Bottom Denver as Rock Bottom Buffalo Gold with Olivier_MTL and Rastacouere. henry3r (586), Wichita, Kansas, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Nov 13, 2005 The bottle poured a clear, amber colored beverage with an ample creamy head that was mostly lasting and left good lacing on the glass. The aroma was mostly of hops. There was very little malt aroma present. The hops aromas were citrus-like reminding me of grapefruit. The body was light to medium with soft carbonation and a watery texture. The flavor started off slightly bitter with a slight sour edge to it. The finish was medium in length and had the same sour edge with a slight bitterness. KAggie97 (2476), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 11, 2005 Bottle. Pours a rich gold with an aroma that reminds me of Grapenuts. Flavor is sweet and floral, with a sprinkling of honey throughout. Very oat branish taste that doesn’t offend. Nice lacing around the glass. Palate is slick. Very good beer; definite repeat. ukoolaid (572), Amherst, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 18, 2005 Bottle. Cloudy golden with white head. Good lacing. Aroma is very light with flowery hops. Taste is very smooth. I like the light cabonation. Slightly sweet and watery, juicy. I’m not a huge fan of the style, but for a blonde ale it’s very drinkable.
