| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 25, 2008 Pour is a bright golden with a small white head. Aroma is hard to detect with some caramel malt and nothing else. Flavor is sweet and a touch fruity with a really weird sour tartness after the swallow. This is boring and that is being kind. Nothing really going on here. spikester (602), Salem, Oregon, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 24, 2008 Aroma is herbal, cider. Pours fine with a rapidly receding head. Plenty of lacing.
Taste is sweet, astringent, light bitter hops, with a dry sour finish.
May have had an old bottle. No date code I could see. CaryTheDude (1113), Longmont, Colorado, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 22, 2008 Citrus aroma with a light mouth-feel and a yeasty finish that lingers and gets sour. Drinkable with food, but on its own, not so much. Ibrew2or3 (2766), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 7, 2008 12oz bottle pours deep clear gold with a copper core and thin white head. The aroma is malty sweet and has pine hops edges and mild sweet citrus. I think this beer has some age on it but it tastes mighty good. It starts with a hint of sweet pine and sweet citrus hops while moving slowly toward mildly roasted malts and some bread as the finish approaches. The hops have really rolled over with age. marcus (1902), Sacramento, California, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Apr 21, 2008 This amber ale poured with a thin beige head and a fruity aroma. There is a thin sour flavor with a slight bitterness - almost no taste. LinusStick (1852), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Apr 7, 2008 Blah. This is crap. The only thing I like about this beer is the heavy sediment. Why a golden ale has this much sediment is beyond me. Aroma was caramel malt but very weak. Pour was heavy sediment and a medium thick gold with no head. Taste was very caramel malt in the front then waters down into a tart almost sour aftertaste. Very wierd and very sub par. RSRIZZO (1369), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 23, 2008 Had this on draft at Old Chicago. Aroma has a very faint hop scent to it. Color is a bright gold with a slight haze. Carbonation is good with a nice tight head. Body is light and goes down with a crisp feel. Finish is a mild malt flavor with a faint citric hop taste and fair bitterness. This is a good Golden Ale with a nice bitter finis
