Commercial Description:
Introducing Cold Hop British-style ale, a unique ale with a rich golden hue, and the 7th release in our Looking Glass Series of specialty beers. Cold Hop's pleasantly fruity, floral hop aroma and earthy flavor perfectly balance the mild sweetness of the English grains, resulting in a refreshing yet high-gravity British-Style ale.

Bottle. Pretty meh overall. Does stay true to the style though--very English in malt and hop characteristics. Very grassy overall, maybe a bit too much.

Pours orange with a fluffy white head. This is a very dry ale, typical of the style but with a very solid bitter hop flavor on the back nine. Nice piney smell as well and some decent malt flavor as well. I liked this one a lot more than I thought I would.

This hazy gold pour has a frothy white head. It smells of hops and pine. Bitter yet smooth and balanced. Overall a solid drinkable beer.

12 oz. Cloudy, burnt orange with a creamy one-finger head that endures. Earthy tea leaf, woody hop, toasted bread and caramel aromas. Flavor is a very nice blend of the same with a citrus, resin, and mildly peppery wood finish. Toasted nut and cocoa flavors begin to develop after a few tastes. Medium body is smoothly carbonated, lightly hop-tingly, and has a crisp dry finish.

Orange pour with off white head and lace. Semi sweet aroma of malt and medium evergreen hops. Malty and semi sweet malt with a medium light bitter and an hint of vanilla. Medium bodied a tad fizzy on carbonation. Pretty good beer.

12oz bottle. Pours clear orange with white head. Aroma is floral hops, citrus and caramel malt. Flavor is hops, citrus, caramel, light fruit, bread and some earthyness. Kind of bland for an IPA, but does match british style. Solid brew.
