Commercial Description:
Introducing Cold Hop British-style ale, a unique ale with a rich golden hue, and the 7th release in our Looking Glass Series of specialty beers. Cold Hop's pleasantly fruity, floral hop aroma and earthy flavor perfectly balance the mild sweetness of the English grains, resulting in a refreshing yet high-gravity British-Style ale.

Bomber bought in Wyoming. Pours a orange color with a medium white head and lots of lacing. The aroma is full of hops; grapefruit and citrus notes. The taste was very very smooth; loads of hoppy citrus, very fresh and nice. A bit of caramel malt also. Very tasty. I think this one is a bit underrated, a very nice quaffable beer.

The first beer of our epic GABF trip to denver! On tap at the Boulder Bar in the Denver airport, enjoyed while we waited for the rest of the group to arrive. Clear orange amber, aroma of toffee and vague fruits. Lots of resinous and citrus hop character-- I thought this was an IPA until I saw it here! Very good, but not in any way ’’english-style’’.

bottle from G&G. honestly, any beer with "hop" on the label strikes my fancy. pours a bright golden color with very little head. aroma is very fruity with notes of orange, pineapple, lemon, and a nice floral hop note. flavor is hoppy early and quickly fades to toasted malt with a slight bitter finish. good balance and easy to drink but not as unique as i expected and seemed more akin to an american pale ale than an english strong.

Light amber, nice head, a bit hazy, attractive. Great nose of grapefruit, floral, and earthy hops. Flavor is initially a floral and earthy hop profile, moving into a very nice sweet biscuity malt finish. Very enjoyable, complex, but easy drinking. I really liked this one, it is deserving of more love.

Beautiful amber pour with a thin head and minimal lacing. Nose is floral and grapefruit, with a bit of pine. Taste was earthy and citrus. Nice hops. Mouthfeel was moderately oily and the finish carried on with citrus and hop bitterness.

Bottle. Hazy orange-amber pour with a small off-white head resting upon it. Nose is hoppy and citrusy with sweet malts, fresh fruit, and pine.Taste is equally hoppy and vibrant. Lots of citrus fruit flavors, pine needles, hop resins and sweet malts. Light hint of toffee as well. Body is medium with a creamy carbonation and some oily slickness. Ends with more citrus fruits, pine, hop oils, grapefruit juice, and sweet malts. Very tasty!
