Commercial Description:
Introducing Cold Hop British-style ale, a unique ale with a rich golden hue, and the 7th release in our Looking Glass Series of specialty beers. Cold Hop's pleasantly fruity, floral hop aroma and earthy flavor perfectly balance the mild sweetness of the English grains, resulting in a refreshing yet high-gravity British-Style ale.

12 oz. bottle. Hazy, light amber color. Large, frothy, off white head. Malty aroma. Sweet flavor with a dash of earthy hops. Metallic taste at the end.

12 oz bottle, light golden pour. Smells like someone jammed a cascade hop leaf up my nose. Taste follows as expected; hoppy, cascade all the way. Good but pretty one-dimensional. I think I just burped up a leaf.

Nice orange color with a large, frothy and lasting white head. Aroma is mostly hoppy with some really fresh citrus notes. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel. Medium carbonation but there is some hop prickliness that accentuates it. More citrusy hops with very faint caramel. Malt becomes evident towards the finish and lends a nice, very light, sweetness. Not a hint of the abv. This brew is fantastic.

Thanks to Beer_Hawk for sharing this one at Illinismitty’s tasting. Hazy orange/gold with a fleeting off-white head. Floral citrus hop aroma. Chalky palate with the citrus hops coming in for a reprise of the aroma in flavor form. Nice balance.

[Bottle] Pours a light caramel with a medium off white head. Aroma is sauerkraut, green tea, and citrus. Flavor is nice hops. Tastes a little past its prime. Grassy, wierd lingering aftertaste.

Sampled this beer poured from chilled bottle into a pint glass. Had a two-finger head and was amber in color. I enjoyed the aroma which had hints of citrus and pine. The flavor was solid but seemed to be lacking in fullness. The body seemed lighter than expected. Overall, an enjoyable beer that went down easy.

bottle from 3 Sons. Cloudy light amber in color, not much head or lacing. Fragrant but not the usual floral hops, and different with a funky creamy hop taste, a little sour background and very nice finish. Distinct taste of catawba grapes
