| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Dec 13, 2007 12 oz. bottle, pours an opaque golden color with minimal head. Very refreshing citrusy aroma fraught with hops. Flavor is good but the palate is amazingly smooth. Pleasant aftertaste and overally an excellent beer- my favorite so far out of Boulder. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 10, 2007 12 oz bottle. Pours a medium hazy light amber- deep copper with a nice head. Aroma is tons of tea-hops, grassy, herbal and flowery- with a mild toasty malt backbone- reminded me of Troegs ESB. Good hop flavor, grass, herbal, tons of nice english hops and a good sweet malt character- crisp and clean finish makes it very easy drinking. Drink4Satan (586), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 9, 2007 12 oz. Pours a pale orange colour with a medium off-white head that leaves small bits of lacing and fades completely. The aroma is of grapefruit citrus, bready malts, pine and some caramel. The flavour brings a toasted element with some floral hops and and grapefruit citrus again. Medium bodied with a slightly slick mouthfeel with gentle carbonation. This is a very straight forward, typically English brew that is balanced and pleasant, but nothing to actively seek. hopdog (5614), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 8, 2007 22oz bottle. Poured a darker and slightly hazy orange color with a larger sized off white head. Aromas of pine, citrus, biscuit, caramel, and slightly earthy. Tastes of earthiness, caramel, pine, and toasted grains. SDbruboy (1832), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 8, 2007 Pours a slightly hazed dark orangey amber with a small whitish head that diminished rapidly. Grainy, biscuity malts, orange juice and lemon zest, floral hoppiness. Brash hoppiness in the flavor - much more apparent than in the aroma - sharply bitter floral hops with an earthy character, grapefruit rind, young evergreen needles and toasty, caramelized malts add a nice balance. Full body and prickly carbonation.

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 2, 2007 On tap at Colllin’s pub a while back. Dark, hazy amber. The hops are there, but this is definitely an almost over balanced british IPA. Roasted malt with plenty of sweetness. A bit of alcohol. chicagodri (1071), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 2, 2007 Poured with a relatively thick head. Mild hoppy aroma. The beer is pretty clear and transparent. Interesting beer. Just a little bits of hops noted and finishes bitter. mike mcneil (660), St Augustine, Florida, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 1, 2007 An admirable attempt at reproducing a classic Brit Ale. Pours a slightly hazy amber-orange color under a 1/2" off-white head which gradually fades to a thin spotty film. No lacing is noted as the beer is consumed. Subtle and delicate aromas of flowers, caramel, earth, fresh bread and a touch of orange and lemon are enjoyed. Mouthfeel was clean and fairly light with subtle carbonation; but finished a tad thin. Flavor profile was well balanced and subtle with gentle notes of caramel, biscuits, toffee, spices, flower essence, citrus and herbs. Finishes with a semi-firm crisp hop bitterness balanced with a touch of honey-like sweetness. Seems to me to be about as good as anything the Brits are putting out these days.
