Commercial Description:
Introducing Cold Hop British-style ale, a unique ale with a rich golden hue, and the 7th release in our Looking Glass Series of specialty beers. (bottle - 12 oz) Rich amber color with a thin white head. Aroma is a nice mix of caramel malts and some rich and floral hops. Flavor is very floral and hoppy at the beginning with some citrus in the middle and a smooth, floral ending. Middle of the road beer really.

Draft sampled. Pours amber in color with a small white head. Aroma of caramel malts, citrus, and a hint of grapefruit. Flavor of citrus hops, caramel, light pine, and spices with a dry bitter finish.

12oz bottle pours out a amber topped with a small white head. A odd smell of some sort of fuel. A touch of hops but not very good. Thanks Indiana_red

Bottle pours a medium orange amber. Small sandy colored head. Faint fumy aroma of light malts. Flavor was bitter and sour. Harsh soapy cardboard flavors. This can’t be how it is supposed to be. Not good.

Bottle (22oz). Clear copper pour, average frothy head. Plenty of funky resiny hop aroma, a little roasty, cereal grain - yeah, that’s the "UK" smell all right - lush. The taste follows, mostly hops, but I get some slightly unripe currant taste, and a hint of rye - nice funky herbal finish. Light body, mildly carbonated, fairly quick and tame finish, only somewhat bitter. Decent.

Pours out a mostly clear dark golden color with a thin two finger white head. Aroma of hops and some malt. Grassy hops on the taste with slight pine, good malt backing throughout. Very drinkable

Bottle shared with Blankboy, Mabel and Jerc, courtesy of Blankboy. Medium orange, small white head. Decent aroma - some earthy malt, bread, but very little hops. Good taste - nice hop bite up front, fresh lots of malt, definitely UK style. Good session type ale, except now I see it is 6.5%...
