Bottle. Amber to copper color with a frothy off-white head. Nice webby lacing. Aroma of leafy hops, tea, and orange above toasted grain malts. Flavor of light caramel and toasty malts with underlying notes of dirt, lawnmower clippings and crushed up twigs. Citrusy-tea hop bitterness comes through on the finish. Has all the elements to be great, but a little too leafy and woody IMO.

Bottle. Pours a clear burnt amber and supports a small dusky white head. Bready aroma with hints of caramel. Flavor of mildly roasted malt, orange zest and almonds with an earthy center and a bitter backstop. Texture is slightly thin but the finish is very dry and snappy.

Pours burnt orange with a small head. Aroma is of citrus and maybe a bit of wood in there as well. I think this is a nicely balanced beer...hops are present, but work alonside the malts instead of trying to kill them. I actually enjoyed this and will most likely drink as a session beer when being completly crushed is not an option.

Pours an amber colour with small frothy off white head. Aroma of grapefruit hops, red fruits and sweet malts. Initial taste begins with a light malt that is sweet. Pine makes its presence but soon gets overwhelmed with an astrigent citrus rhine bitterness. Sides of the mouth stick with that bitterness for an average palate duration. Minor head retention and some lacing of the glass. Medium body and dry finish.

12oz bottle pours amber with a short white head that stays pretty well. Aromas of slight pine and a touch of grapefruit with good caramel behind that. Flavor is some decent citrus notes blended nicely with some caramel malts, a touch of spice at the finish. Medium body with lively carbonation but an overall balanced brew.

My bottle (650ml) shared with tupalev, jerc & mabel. Pours a clear golden-orange with an average size frothy off-white head. Simple but nice aroma of hops backed by caramel malt along with hints of fruit, spices and biscuit. Flavour’s pretty much the same, hops and caramel malt and a light, dry bitter finish. Medium bodied. Pretty good, I enjoyed it.

Bottle. Moderate malt aromas of roasted, heavy hop notes of citrus and pine, and a light yeast smell of broth, with wood and a very light scent of indecernable dried fruit. Head is frothy, off white with excellent lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is a slightly hazy dark amber. Nice balance in flavor that starts lightly sweet and moderately acidic and finishes heavily bitter. Palate is light to medium, slightly oily but finished dry, and it has a lively carbonation. A nicely hopped English strong.

Poured an amber color, ok initial head, weak retention, ok lacing. The aroma was citrus and grapefruits. The flavor followed suit, citrus and grapefruits, light resinous notes over top of caramel and toffee malts. An overall earthiness made this a pretty enjoyable beer, apricots and melons also underneath. This exceeded my expecatations, especially at 3.49 for the bomber. Nice stuff!
