| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 19, 2009 Pours a crystal clear amber into the glass, with an offwhite sudsy head that leaves soapy lace. The nose is of big, grassy hops and some sourgrains. Flavors of caramel, lemongrass, grassy hops and some silage grains. The finish closes on a grassy, earthen hop note. The mouthfeel is easily smooth, with a sharp, biting texture. I can feel the British invasion, but definitely the bold American take on the style. Interesting offering, this one. I don’t know that I’d specifically remember to search it out, but it would be a welcome pull any day. jbye4334 (719), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA
