full silky canopy w/ some spattered islands and a complete creamy ring of lace.
Aromas of fresh malted herbs and aged citrus rind. Full nectar w/ ample, creamy residual effers. Nice!
A big malty backbone supports a bright hop component. Flavors come alive w/ a brisk force
and splatter layers of aged malts on top of refreshingly snappy hops. Mildly sweet w/ rustic nuances
of citrus rind and mild caramel. The finish is bittered perfectly and dry leaving a nice hop burn
to linger. I want more! Very well balanced. I can taste the English influence.
Highly recommended.

Great bitterness with just the right amount of sweetness to clean you palette quick enough leaving you aching for another drink, but as said before take heed of the ABv because in taste you’d have no idea it was as high as it is. A good session beer cathcacr (592), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Jun 25, 2008 Updated: Jul 16, 2008Very fragrant, reminiscent of the aroma of a Double IPA or a fresh-hop harvest ale. Flavor has sweetness and body is much like a sticky resinous hop-bombing IxPA. The hop character is very played up in pretty much every aspect except for flavor, which is medium-strong-hoppy by mainstream standards. Definitely worth coming back to, especially at the modest price. I recommend this, and the RB average has dropped the ball on this somewhat. Something of this quality would get around a 3.7 RB average in a true, fair blind tasting.

Pours a beautiful hazy gold with a thick frothy white head. Aroma is a beautiful floral hop, galangal, pine and resin medley. Flavor reminds me of whole grain toast with fresh raw honey. Beautifully rounded out with the perfect balance of hops. The balance from the front of the palate to the finish is perfect. I couldn’t imagine a better session beer. Too bad ABV isn’t lower. nearbeer (1884), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

Earthy tea leaf, woody hop, toasted bread and caramel aromas. Flavor is a very nice blend of the same with a citrus, resin, and mildly peppery wood finish. Toasted nut and cocoa flavors begin to develop after a few tastes. Medium body is smoothly carbonated, lightly hop-tingly, and has a crisp dry finish.
