Flavor is initially mellow, but warms as it works it's way down the tounge. Hoppy and smooth, with a almost pine-like aftertaste. This beer is surprisingly light in body and taste. dankitydancer (58), Arizona, USA

Medium balanced with an average taste. Nothing distinguishable from a regular ale. Respectable, very drinkable. Still nothing gets me excited about fall from drinking this beer. Very fruity nose, pineapple or pineapple cake. Flat, cookie-like taste; ever so slightly bitter finish. Medium bodied. Flat & boring, very surprising after the feast by Hazed & Infused. Beautiful color, plum or dark rose. Very well hopped and balanced well with sweetness. Very drinkable and well done. JMerritt (1321), Macomb, Illinois, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Sep 16, 2003 Red-brown in color, virtual no head, ahthough lacing is fair (?). Cookie aroma highlighted by hops and pine notes. Moderately bitter flavor, lightly bitter finish. Could use more substance; body is watery and just too light. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Aug 30, 2003 A fairly nice hoppy amber ale. Pure amber color with a medium creamy head and heavy lacing. Aroma is hoppy and citric with lemon rind, some grapefruit. Flavor is hoppy and moderate caramel malting with biscuity flavors, tingly resiny mouthfeel. Fresh hop aromatics are what make this beer. If they've faded with age, don't expect much else. Aubrey (2778), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 9, 2003 Draft at the brewery: Seemed much fresher and a little more aromatic than I remember the bottle version being last year. Clear, deep amber-brown with a diminishing head; also had a spider web of thin lace lining the glass. Lively carbonation. Somewhat roasty with some toasted bread flavors in the malts. Healthy hop bitterness in the finish, which lingered into the aftertaste nicely. Bitterness might be a bit much for the malts, but I enjoyed it nevertheless. Lightish personality, but rather drinkable.
