Very fruity nose, pineapple or pineapple cake. Flat, cookie-like taste; ever so slightly bitter finish. Medium bodied. Flat & boring, very surprising after the feast by Hazed & Infused. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 28, 2004 Copper color with a smaller beige head. Man everything seems to have a beige head lately. Toasted wheat bead aroma, with a touch of oxidation. Light feel. Green light hop start with a dry malt middle. Finish is rather bitter and has some more dry malt character. A touch of malt sweetness would do wonder in this one. Tmoney99 (4794), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Very refreshing full flavor with a moderate bitter sweet finish of moderate duration. Ernest (4515), Boulder, Colorado, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 13, 2005 Bottle (12oz). Poured slightly cloudy umber with a small off-white diminishing head. Aroma is of sharp evergreen resiny hops, but not rich or full - there’s also a background of light roast caramel/cocoa malt and pine cones - really does put you in mind of a walk in a late fall northern forest, although it gets a little funky on warming. Taste is much milder, the hops are muted and the malt is pretty basic, not much roast or caramel character - mouthfeel is weak and mostly flat, a touch astringent. The aroma’s the best thing about this, and even that’s not memorable. beerguy101 (3971), Newark, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 19, 2002 Deep Amber Color, medium head. Nicely malty, slightly hoppy Amber Ale. Slightly roasted malts, full flavor. Good balance of hops to malts. Finish is crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter, somewhat malty. badgerben (3605), Blaine, Minnesota, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 31, 2004 Dark red color with no head. Sweet hoppy aroma. Oddly enough, it has a dry and bitter taste. It’s a pretty good knock-back-beer.
